Spring 07—and the little calves (06) are weaned and looking for ways to get into trouble! |
Dictator Barley which has stood up alright without any real sub-soil moisture to begin with—the calves seem to like it! |
Dictator over sown on Lucerne looks like it could easily hide a bunny or two from Zach! |
Yawn—life is soooo tough just chillin out! |
Dictator over sown on new Lucerne in what was poor dirt – probably as we were forced to use reuse water over this in the drought ie high salts loads—seems to have recovered nicely with a bit of lime and some soil and seed (www.bioag.com.au) |

The ‘Lambies’ heading up to the yards—notice the size of the lead sheep—a couple of weathers whom have been lazing around for over two years (avg. weight 90kgs!). The lead sheep keep an eye out for the lambs and make it easy to move them around the farm—just whistle and they come trotting! - Very orderly old chaps! |

The same dust bowl being sown in the autumn. It is amazing what a little rain can bring—still waiting for the drought breaker though! |
